Pluto TV is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst who is analytically driven, with deep technical and business knowledge in media, product, and big data! This role requires the candidate to develop relationships within the larger analytics and Marketing teams, as well as other functions across the business, with an emphasis on delivering compelling, data-informed actionable insights.

 

Overview & Responsibilities

  • Help conduct deep-dive analysis and build recurring insights reports and presentations based on our streaming media platform, marketing analytics data, device and user performance, and video ad metrics.

  • Analyze historical performance and marketing data and deliver comprehensive insights.
  • Prepare, semi-automate, and summarize reports using data from various internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate and prepare dashboards as needed, with an emphasis on marketing analytics.
  • Partner with colleagues in the Analytics function to support stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders (Marketing, Content & Programming, Finance, Product) across geographical regions.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Analytics role.
  • Marketing Analytics experience, preferably supporting a marketing team.
  • Experience in model development, proof-of-concept or growth projects.
  • Experience with MMPs or similar platforms (e.g. Kochava, Adjust, Singular, AppsFlyer).
  • Solid grasp of the challenges facing marketing attribution.
  • Strong written documentation and presentation skills, building executive-facing presentations.
  • Excellent SQL skills with experience writing/optimizing complex queries
  • Previous experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake and Redshift.
  • Automation experience - dashboards and processes.
  • Knowledge of Tableau or similar BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Preset).

 

Additional Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ad partner performance measurement (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, Apple Search Ads, Roku Ads, etc), paid media performance analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in SVOD, AVOD, or FAST within media or tech industries.
  • Experience in Content or Product Analytics.
  • Alteryx and Databricks experience.
  • Experience with Braze or other CRM tools, as well as CRM Analytics Experience.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 135,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
